Dear incoming 5th graders,
Welcome to Mrs. Stewart’s fifth grade class! I am so excited I will be spending the 2019-2020 school year with you. This is my fourth year teaching literacy here at RAPCS. I am looking forward to getting to know each of you and working hard towards our goals.
A few things about myself, I graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2014 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I reside in Drexel Hill with my husband and puppy, Rafiki. I love to read fiction novels and shop at Target!
I hope you are just as ready and excited to get this school year rolling as I am! Here are a few tips to keep in mind as you get yourself ready for school and I have included a supply list as well as my contact information if there are any questions.
Back to School Tips:
-get a good night’s sleep (about 8 hours)
-eat a balanced breakfast
-lay out your uniform the night before
-make sure you have all of your supplies in your backpack
- one pack of no. 2 pencils (not mechanical)
- one three ring binder
- four different colored folders
- four composition notebooks
- one pack of loose leaf paper
If possible, it would be extremely helpful if you could bring a box of tissues, hand sanitizer and a box of disinfectant wipes as we go through these items quickly! Thanks in advance!
