Our Mission

The mission of the RAPCS is to create a safe and healthy learning environment for middle school youth (grades 5-8) to develop into responsible participants in their education and our diverse society. We will provide rigorous instruction to prepare children for higher learning, the workplace, and life.

Our guiding principles determine the manner in which our mission and vision will be realized. Principles provide a uniform approach to how we function as a school community. Decisions are made through the framework of our guiding principles. These principles will transform the way we communicate by providing a shared language.

Richard Allen Preparatory Charter School (RAPCS) prepares our children to be successful in everything they do. Our goal is for every child to enjoy a safe, happy, and successful future.

We provide rigorous instruction to prepare children for higher learning, the workplace, and life. Here at RAPCS, we think globally and act locally!

Richard Allen Preparatory Charter School works hard to meet the needs of every scholar in order to provide them with the best learning environment possible for academic success. This includes participation in a wide range of class opportunities outside of core subject areas, such as social emotional learning, wellness, art, and technology. All scholars will take Math, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. Scholars also have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of clubs in our after-school program.

RAPCS Group Therapy & Support Sessions

Hello, RAPCS Families! We are excited to share that we are offering several support and wellness groups this Fall (October 14 – December 12, 2025) to help students build emotional resilience, process life changes, and explore identity in a supportive environment.

Welcome Back to RAPCS: The 2025-2026 School Year Begins This Week!

Welcome back, Panthers! Our first week of school begins tomorrow, Monday, August 25, 2025 as we welcome back our 5th and 6th grade students. We'll return the following day to do it all again as we welcome back our 7th and 8th grade students on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. Thank you!

Welcome Back Message from Maschio's!

Maschio's, RAPCS' National School Lunch Program service provider, is available in over 460 school cafeterias! Maschio's supports Farm to School meals by collaborating with local farms to grow produce for school meals on Maschio's dedicated acreage. They also provide vegan food options and nutrition classes for our students as an added bonus.

We're excited to continuing working with them during the 2025-2026 school year.
