Dress Code

When we return for the 2023-2024 school year, we will once again enforce our uniform policy https://flynnohara.com/shop/richard-allen-preparatory-charter-pa887/. We encourage you to buy sooner than later. 

 

All students are required to be in proper uniform every day. Parents/guardians are responsible for the purchase and maintenance of the uniform. If there is a problem obtaining the regulation uniform, please contact Ms. T. Johnson at (215-878-1544 ext. 107). 

 

All school clothing must be purchased at Flynn & O’Hara Uniform Company, located at 30 E Baltimore Ave, Clifton Heights, PA 19018. Other locations are also available visit https://www.flynnohara.com/. However, an option for navy blue pants and white shirts https://www.frenchtoast.com/#.


GENERAL REGULATIONS

Students should take pride in their appearance. Clothing should be clean and well-maintained. Hair: Students may wear headbands of school colors only. No bandanas, durags, hair bonnets or scarfs are permitted. Students are not permitted to wear earrings bigger than a quarter. 

A watch is permitted. Smart watches should not be brought to school. Cell phones may not be used during the school day. Headphones or Airpods should not be worn unless for a specific class activity. Richard Allen Preparatory Charter School is not responsible for any missing items including phones, watches, Airpods, or headphones.

ALL STUDENTS (Grades 5-8):

A white buttoned shirt, with short or long sleeves (No polo shirts). Shirts must be properly tucked in with a school tie. Navy blue pants (No dickie pants, jeggings, or tights) with a black belt worn at the waist, and navy blue or black socks. (No slouch socks are to be worn). An official navy blue uniform sweater with a school logo is the only type of sweater permitted. All black shoes must be worn; all black sneakers are also acceptable. No boots, no UGGs, no Crocs.

 

MUSLIM STUDENTS (Grades 5-8)

Girls must wear navy blue, white, or black overgarments.

Boys must wear navy blue, white, or black thobe.
(No other colors are permitted)

 

GIRLS OPTION (Grades 5-8)

The official Richard Allen Preparatory Charter School plaid skirt is worn with a white buttoned shirt, with short or long sleeves (No polo shirts), navy blue knee socks, or navy blue, white or black stockings (No solid colored tights or design printed tights). An official navy blue uniform sweater is the only type of sweater permitted. All black shoes must be worn; all black sneakers are also acceptable. No boots, no UGGs, no Crocs.

 

GYM UNIFORMS

Students must wear their gym uniform on the assigned day. No other types of clothes are permitted.

Navy blue sweatpants, sweatshirts, and t-shirts with school logo are to be worn. Only Richard Allen Preparatory Charter School plain navy blue sweats are acceptable. Sneakers (of any color) can be worn on gym day. No boots, no UGGs, no Crocs.
