In honor of the teachings, work, and legacy of Dr. Martin Martin Luther King Jr., Richard Allen Preparatory Charter School will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026. On this day, we hope our community will reflect upon the efforts led by Dr. King and the Civil Rights giants who surrounded him. We also acknowledge that these efforts are far from being finished, and hope that the work we do here at Richard Allen Preparatory Charter School will help educate, uplift, empower, and nurture our children and our community in the same vein of Dr. King’s work, wisdom, and vision. RAPCS Community, continue to challenge, advocate, read, learn, teach, and above all, dream!
